Always wanted to teach? Do you have the feeling you are an advanced dancer but want to do more than just dancing? Then teaching might be a logical next step.
This course is about how to become a dance teacher for partner dance. As DA Dance Studio has its expertise in Brazilian Zouk this will mainly be used but the focus is on teaching not on learning Zouk. In 2017 people have used it to teach Samba de Gafieira and Bachata as well.
The course is pretty intensive especially if you consider most people have a daytime job besides it. Apart from the training weekends and the exam, there is an expected 2 nights a week to be at the studio.
1 night for your own personal development. the course should include 1 beginner class in partner dance, 1 class in solo dance and 1 Choreography or demo class (Half Pass membership)
and 1 night for internships, described below.
All in All it is a serious endeavour, so we advise you to take a critical look at your planning for 2019 and see if you can find the time and prioritise it in such a way that you can really participate
We also strongly advise to do part 1 and part 2 of the embodying weekends especially if you are not used to the DA system.
